Who is the Social Media’s Daddy?
On internet, its the war of social media platforms. Each trying to out grow other. In these wars it is interesting to know the standing of the social media by internet giant Google. This is Google’s 3rd attempt on presenting a ground breaking social media. Previously it has made failed attempts with Orkut and Google Buzz.
Though Google had an immense success with Orkut initially but it faded out and Facebook slowly created its way in. With Facebook at this boom, Google made an other entry into the social media industry with Google Buzz which came in and later Google had to shut it down due to its failure. There is no doubt that Facebook leads the industry till now.
With the passage of time other social media platforms have also made their way in and somehow have become the important part of lives of internet savvys. This list of this includes platforms like twitter and printerest. Now Google has made another try by introducing its new platform Google Plus. Though it has earned a great credibility and audience acceptance, yet it is debatable, whether it is a success or not. Or will it survive the tough competition or not.
In the league, Google Plus is still lacking a lot as compared to the competitors. Market is being led by Facebook and then comes the micro blogging giant, twitter. People spend time on Facebook that sometimes surpasses the combined time of many other social media platforms. The question is that whether Google Plus would be a success in the future or not?
